DISRUPT THE DATA

As part of my exploration of causal loops, I've been looking at the tracking of our everyday movements, particularly through smartphone sensors. My focus has been on the accelerometer, a sensor capable of analyzing acceleration patterns and associating them with various activities. This research led me to examine the impact of this data on our lives, as well as on our physical and social behaviors. Aware of the limits and biases that this data can generate, I have designed systems to deliberately disrupt this information in order to better understand its effects and free ourselves from it.
